This is a scarce history of the Wesley Orphan House together with an account of the early development of Methodism in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and the surrounding area.
Acceptable reading copy:
Binding is shaken and the front board is almost detached. Boards show marks, staining, discolouration, chipping, heavy wear and edge wear with bumped corners. The spine covering is missing entirely. Page edges show some spotting. Some pencil notation.
A postcard and newspaper clipping are stucked inside the front cover and front endpaper.
